BAGL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

BAGL ("the app") is a grocery-list app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. BAGL is private by design: your data stays on your device, and the developer does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of it. This policy explains what that means in plain language.

The short version

Information BAGL stores

BAGL stores the content you create — your stores, categories, items, prices, lists, notes, and templates — on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This information is not sent to the developer or to anyone else. BAGL does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or any other personal information, and it never asks you to create an account.

Sharing and exporting (your choice)

Some features let you move your own data, always at your initiative:

BAGL never transmits your data on its own — sharing only happens when you choose it.

System features

BAGL uses a few of Apple's on-device features:

These are handled by Apple's frameworks on your device and do not send your data to the developer.

Children's privacy

BAGL is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it knowingly collects none from children either.

Your data, your control

Because your data lives only on your device, you are fully in control of it. You can edit or delete individual items, lists, and stores in the app, or remove everything, at any time. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. The developer keeps no copy of your data, so there is nothing on the developer's side to request, export, or delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be posted on this page. Any material change will appear here before it takes effect.
